Computer viruses are the most well known computer threat for security. To define, a virus is a program that is written to alter or change the way a computer operates without the knowledge or permission from the user. A properly engineered computer virus can make a billion of dollars in destruction. Imagine the time, effort and money one company has to pay just to contain the virus.  Since there are always new viruses found everyday and the spreading speed of these new viruses are increasing, you need to get a virus protection for you computer.

A spyware is a more serious security threat for computers. A spyware is any program which can monitor your activities online or can install programs to your computer without your persmission. They are designed primarily to get personal information from the user or to gain profit. They may seem harmless at first, but these spyware are so dangerous since they can steel important data from your computer. For this reason, it is highly advisable that you install a spyware protection for your computer. Especially if you have an access to the internet and you download different software.

These computer threats are made to steal and harm. But if you are armed with resources that will guard you against this growing and evolving computer threat and if you have a total computer protection, you will be able to stay safe online or offline.
